I haven’t made this recipe just yet, but I’m planning to this upcoming Sunday to celebrate my amazing mom! She’s a lover of all things chocolate and I wanted to bake her something special. Her favorite chocolates are Turtles, which is why I chose this recipe.

I can’t smell anything at all, not even a little, I’m completely nose blind. For some reason when people find out I can’t smell they freak out.

Everybody could use a coffee cake recipe in their life, regardless if they actually drink coffee or not. My favorite part of coffee cake is the delicious buttery crumble on top, that’s why this is my favorite recipe. Not only is there a generous amount of crumble over top, but it’s also infused throughout the cake. Don’t let the length of the recipe scare you, it’s a simple bake!

By Amber Schmitt, Seminole Sentinel The Terminal List By Jack Carr This novel was another step outside of my comfort zone, as I’m not naturally inclined towards books filled with war and politics. Although this book is technically fiction, a lot of the events were actually based off of the author’s personal experiences as a Navy SEAL.

Baked Oatmeal Growing up, I hated oatmeal. I don’t know if it was the mushy texture or the bland flavor, but regardless, I can’t stand it.

At just five years old, I very distinctly remember my Kindergarten teacher teaching me to write in cursive. As I got older, I remember being handed an orange booklet in which I completed many cursive lessons. The other day when I mentioned this to my younger brother, he informed me that he was never taught to write cursive and couldn’t even comprehend it. (And, yes, the title is written in my very own shaky cursive handwriting- I’m a bit rusty myself.)
