Indians set to make the move south for district play

It has been a few years since the Seminole football team has been able to travel south for district play. For the 2020 and 2021 seasons, the Indians met Lubbock Estacado, Perryton, Borger and Levelland for the right to advance to the postseason.

Seminole head football coach Greg Poynor was hired in February 2021, and it took about 18 months for his high- octane, pedal-to-the-metal offense to take root. Now, Indians’ fans know to be in their seats at kickoff, especially if Seminole wins the opening coin toss because arriving just one or two minutes late could mean missing a score.

COPPELL-- The Seminole boy’s basketball had a strong finish to its appearance at the 2024 Summer State Tournament last week in Coppell. The Indians played two days of pool play and took their lumps, going 0-3 against Life Waxahachie, Decatur and Mabank.
