Funeral services for Maria Giesbrecht, age 51 of Seminole were held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Reinlander Mennonite Church with John Loewen officiating. Burial followed at Reinlander Cemetery. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Giesbriecht was born in Mexico on September 1, 1973 to Aganetha (Giesbrecht) and Peter Reimer. She married Abraham Giesbrecht in Mexico on October 19, 1990. She was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church and a homemaker. She loved her flowers, and her family was everything to her.
Maria Giesbrecht passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 at Seminole Memorial Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her father, Peter Reimer in 2019.
She is survived by her husband, Abraham Giesbrecht of Seminole; two sons, Peter Giesbrecht, and Ben Giesbrecht and wife Justina, both of Seminole; two daughters, Helena Wieler and husband Bernhart, and Elisabeth Giesbrecht, both of Seminole; her mother, Aganetha Reimer of Seminole; one brother, Ben Reimer and wife April of Lubbock and five grandchildren.
