With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Karla Cabe Hope on June 9, 2024. Karla was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and member of the community, born November 21, 1962, in Lubbock to parents Conrad Cabe and Norma Fore Cabe.

Karla was a woman of faith, finding solace in her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her dedication to her family was unwavering; Karla was a devoted wife to Richard, took pride in her role as a homemaker, and loved nothing more than spending time with her grandkids. Karla was a respected and long-time member of Monterey Church of Christ. A visitation took place at Sanders Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, 2024, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. A service to celebrate Karla’s life will be held at Monterey Church of Christ on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Karla was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad Cabe and Norma Fore Cabe, and sister Patti Cabe McGuire.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Hope; son and daughter-in-law Jared and Kelsy Hope; daughter and son-in-law Ragan and Alex Mladenovic; son and daughter-in-law Landon and Brianna Hope; grandchildren Corbin Hope, Lawson Hope, Amelia Hope, Palmer Hope, Ana Mladenovic, Lucy Hope, and an additional granddaughter due in August; sister Sandy Cabe Meeks.
