The Seminole athletic programs gathered for their annual celebration to recognize the athletes, honor top performances and give a glimpse of the Indians’ and Maidens’ future. There was plenty to celebrate, from the first days of practice in August to the final putt at the Girls Class 4A State Golf Tournament.

The Seminole baseball team made some changes to its upcoming Class 4A regional quarterfinal series against Canyon Randall. The series, originally scheduled to begin Thursday at Randall High School, has been moved due to impending inclement weather.

Indians battle through weather delay to defeat Perryton

PLAINVIEW-- The only thing that delayed the Seminole baseball team was Mother Nature. After winning Game 1 of a Class 4A bidistrict playoff series against Perryton, the Indians were forced to wait as inclement weather, including hail, pushed back the start of Game 2 on Friday at Plainview High School.

Tennis team ready to chase regionals

AUSTIN-- It was the final day of the track and field season and Loop’s Lady Longhorns were right in the mix Competing at the 2024 UIL Class 1A State Track and Field Championships, Kamryn Dyck, Kiersten Wieler, Julie Fehr and Aubry Lowen were looking to mine some medals and put their team near the top of the standings.
