Funeral services for Franz Banman, age 64 of Seminole were held Monday, April 22, 2024 at Old Colony Mennonite Church at 2:00 p.m. with Elder Peter Jensen officiating. Burial followed at Gaines County Cemetery. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Banman was born November 15, 1959 in Mexico to Sara (Friesen) and John Banman. He married Susana Knelsen in Mexico on August 24, 1981. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Old Colony Mennonite Church.

Franz Banman passed away in Hudspeth County on April 13, 2024.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two daughters, one brother, and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Susana Banman of Seminole; four sons, Peter Banman and wife Tina, Pancho Banman and wife Lisa, John Banman and wife Helen, and Abe Banman and wife Neda, all of Seminole; five daughters, Agatha Unger and husband Peter, Susan Doerksen and husband Jacob, Annie Friesen and husband Willie, Helen Doerksen and husband David, and Tina Klassen and husband Willie, all of Seminole; six brothers, Johan Banman and wife Maria of Mexico, Cornelius Banman and wife Maria of Canada, Abram Banman and wife Aganetha of Canada, Klaus Banman and wife Eva of Brownfield, Texas, Isaak Banman and wife Aganetha of Mexico, and Henry Banman and wife Susana of O’Donnell; four sisters, Anna Martens and husband Frank, and Christina Dyck and husband Peter, both of Canada, and Helen Wiens, and Maria Koethler and husband Jacob, both of Mexico; and 44 grandchildren.
