Baseball: Indians Fall in ’17 Season Finale, 15-8

The 2017 Seminole Indian baseball season came to a close on Tuesday evening, as SHS fell 15-8 in District 2-4A play against the Levelland Lobos.

SHS finished their season with a 9-14 overall record and a 1-9 showing in District 2-4A play.

Texas Senate endorses letting home-schoolers play in UIL

AUSTIN (AP) — The Texas Senate has approved a bill that would allow home-schooled students to participate in public school sports and other activities.

Texas has about 350,000 home-schooled students who are currently barred from competing in the University Interscholastic League, the state’s governing body for high school sports.
