CC: Davis Finishes 64th at 4A State Meet

ROUND ROCK — In her first appearance on one of Texas’ biggest running stages, Seminole freshman distance runner Hailey Davis finished in the middle of the pack as an individual title contender, after competing at the UIL’s Class 4A State Cross Country Championships.

Davis, Seminole’s lone long-distance qualifier for the 2017 season, finished 64th out of 149 individual competitors in the two-mile race held at Old Settler’s Park, with a time of 12 minutes, 54.58 seconds.…

Volleyball: Maidens Top Greenwood in Area Playoff Saturday

ANDREWS — Four Seminole hitters finished with double-digit kills as they helped lift the Maidens to a four-set Class 4A Area Championship win over Midland Greenwood and set up a showdown against top-ranked Bushland on Tuesday evening in the 4A Regional Quarterfinal round of the University Interscholastic League playoffs.
