Football: Tentative Seminole Bi-District Playoff Information Released

A tentative Class 4A, Div. II Bi-District Play-off playoff between the Seminole Indians (9-1) and the Dalhart Golden Wolves has been slated for Thursday, Nov, 16, at 7 p.m. (CST) at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium on the Campus of Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico.

Golf: Maidens Claim 2nd at Red Raider Invitational

LUBBOCK — The Seminole Maiden varsity golf team took second place team honors at the 2017 Red Raider Invitational, held last week at the Rawls Course and Shadow Hills Golf Course.

SHS finished with a two-day total of 341-318 — 659 to finish behind tournament champion Andrews’ 305-314 — 619. Pacing the way for the Maidens was Juilana Klassen, who finished with rounds of 81 and 79 (160 total) in the two day event.…

BBB: Indians Ranked 3rd in TABC Class 4A Preseason Polls

The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches have tabbed the 2017-18 edition of the Seminole Indians as a preseason third-ranked team in the Class 4A ranks, according to a poll released on Monday.

Tennis: Tribe Tops Borger to Capture Bi-District Crown

LUBBOCK — The Seminole High School tennis team defeated the Borger High Lady Dogs and Bulldogs in a Class 4A, Region I Bi-District team showdown, held Tuesday.

SHS topped Borger 10-3 in match-play to advance to the Class 4A Area Championship round, where they will face off with rival Andrews.

Federal court says Texas can use new voter ID law for November elections
