A “Lone Star Christmas” will be celebrated by Seminole area residents on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 10, as the Gaines County 4-H Club will host their 25th annual lighted Christmas parade.
The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m., according to local event organizers.
The parade route will see participants depart from the corner of N.W. Ave. D and N.W. 5th St. — the southeastern corner of Wigwam Stadium — and travel eastbound on N.W. Ave. D toward Main St. Once reaching Main St., the route will turn south and travel in front of the Gaines County Courthouse before turning east on S.E. Ave. C and finishing near the Gaines County Courthouse grounds.
Headlining the annual parade will be Santa Claus, who will serve as the grand marshal of annual event and will meet with local youth on the west side of the Gaines County Courthouse grounds following the completion of the parade.
For more information about the parade, contact the Gaines County AgriLife Extension office at (432) 758-4006.
