DENVER CITY--Memorial services for Wilma Mae Allen, 85, will be conducted Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Denver City with the Rev. Barney Railsback officiating. Services will be under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. She passed away Friday, May 23 in Denver City.
Mrs. Allen was born May 24, 1928 in Margaret to Barney and Eula Mae Railsback. Wilma Mae and M.J. Allen were married June 6, 1947 in Vrnon. She was employed by SMU in Dallas for 10 years; lived in Ruidoso, New Mexico for six years; moved to Electra for 10 years before returning to Semiole. She is preceded in death by a son David Allen, a brother Everett Railsback and a sister Vivian Quisenberry.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband M.J. Allen of Seminole; a daughter Linda Fryar and husband Tommy of Denver City; two sons Jackie Allen and wife Margie of Midland; Paul Allen and wife Renee of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchild. Along with two sisters Hazel Mason of Electra, Hollye Thelmer of Wichita Falls; one brother Barney Ray Railsback of Amarillo; one step-sister Jean Anne Thetford of Odessa; two step-brothers, Tom Allison of Wichita Falls and Russell Allison of Wichita Falls.
