Are you a rodeo fan?  Maybe you like the thrill of man against beast or lovely ladies riding barrels. Maybe you like watching the rodeo clowns put their lives in danger to protect the bullriders. Maybe you are just a fan of the whole show.

The Gaines County Riding Club will be presenting the 3rd Annual Rodeo July 25-26 at the Gaines County Rodeo Grounds located one mile east of town on Hwy. 180 then north one mile on CR 103. The event will be held at 8 p.m. nightly. 

Gate admission for the event is $7. Children six and under are free with a paid adult.

This rodeo will be UPRA and NMRA sanctioned, as well as open to any contestant. $1600 in additional prize money will be up for grabs. Entry fees are: $85/ CR & SW $100/ TR $ 240 enter 2X.

Special events will include: "Money The Hard Way" both nights with cash prizes to the winners. Saturday night the winner of the raffle will be determined. The raffle winner will choose between $500 cash or a new 15.5" Teskey's brand roping saddle. The 2014 rodeo queen will also be announced during the Saturday night performance. Those candidates include: Heidi Diaz, Beverly Fehr, Esstela Friesen, Bricia Lira and Kylie Williamson. Eight year old Hailee Martinez will be crowned 2014 Seminole rodeo princess during the Friday night performance.

A dance will be held at the arena starting at 10 p.m. with a cost of $5 per person.  The band Last Call will be entertaining those in attendance.

The rodeo parade will begin at 5:30 pm Saturday starting at the football field parking lot and ending on the east side of Cost Savers parking lot.
